Design/Build Services

When Progressive Development Group, Inc., was founded in 1997, it was with the vision of a true service-oriented organization: an organization whose staff would readily assist clients with any issue that might arise in the course of a project.

Early on, when one of PDG’s long time petroleum clients was having trouble finding a reliable service firm to do construction and remodeling of their facilities, PDG took the opportunity to establish Commercial Maintenance Systems, Inc. (CMS), a construction group that got that job done successfully and soon gained a wide reputation for client satisfaction.

As new venues presented themselves, CMS constructed other facilities, adding top level, experienced construction managers and staff. Today, with its much expanded client base, CMS and the engineering/architectural staff of PDG have a successful and diverse Design/Build Program.

Since most Design/Build Programs are under the direction of either a designer or a contractor, but rarely both, communication problems have traditionally arisen between the two separate entities. However, at Progressive Development Group, the Design and Build Services are within one organization, with the design team and the construction group working side by side. At PDG, where the client meets with both teams concurrently, communication becomes seamless, and time and costs are streamlined.
